Mum turns up for a walk and witnesses the Diva running around the back yard like a fruit loop and thinks she is a pup again! She looked at me and asked "what the hell has gone on here?" I just laughed and told her the story...
A few weeks back my Mum was over to help me take the fur kids for a walk and the subject arose of come Christmas time I would need to re-evaluate Daisy and possibly consider doing the right thing by her and putting her to sleep. She was getting slower and slower and grumpier and could only handle a once a week walk and even then, there had been a number of times where I thought she actually wasn't going to make it back to the car. This girl has given me so much, I certainly do not want to see her suffer at all.
I had tried her on a multitude of different things, but in the end you can only delay old age setting in for so long with large breed dogs.
Meanwhile a friend was trying to force upon me some stuff called DE. I thought yeah, whatever, yet another gimmick product that will probably cost a small fortune and won't work. So anyway she put some in a bag which I duly threw in the cupboard. A little time later I cleaned the cupboard out and found it and rather than throw it out I thought I may as well give it to the dogs and see what it does, if anything.
Two weeks pass. Mum turns up for a walk and witnesses the Diva running around the back yard like a fruit loop, and thinks she is a pup again! She looked at me and asked "what the hell has gone on here?" I just laughed and told her the story.
So, let's just say there will be no more talking about PTS. She is happier, fitter and a lot more dam active. She trots around on our walks now pulling Mum along to hurry her up as the Diva wants to keep up with the other two younger dogs and is able to now.
The difference really has been absolutely amazing and if someone told me about this and what it could do for older dogs I would have laughed in their face.
